"Dead" show

Went and saw the most recent incarnation of The Grateful Dead. I've been very hesitant to go to any types of shows like this. I really don't like jam bands, but for some reason I really like The Grateful Dead. I saw like 40 shows back when Jerry Garcia was alive. In the end it was quite sad. Don't do hard drugs... So, my girlfriend, Casey real;ly wanted to go, so we ponied up, layed down 100 bucks. I must say we had a great time. Maybe it was the nose bleed seats, maybe it was the awesome weather, maybe, maybe, maybe. Whatever. The band sounded great. Try things out of the ordinary, you might like it, Mikey! AAHHHH, dirty hippies.

Ponderosa bouldering

I love this place. good bouldering, nice camping, fairly close drive. I haven't used my manual camera for a while. The pictures were less than perfect, much less. Little photoshop, and there palatable. I urge everyone to check this place out. But be cool to the locals, climbers and non-climbers. Nice little community.

it's been a while

Long time no writing, it's been quite a ride. Isabella is growing like crazy, and thats an amazing thing. The funny thing about fatherhood is how absolute things are, crying, hungry, wet, its there time. No time to create some excuse. You are a DAD. It's wonderful, overwhelming, and so rewarding. It looks like Saturday climbing time is going to open up, but in the mean time, some pics of the fam,, and of my super special dinner, the "Super Bowl Special".. Let's just say the pork falls off the bone, "you can cut it with your fork" please, I say. Recipe to follow.

Its been a while. Heres some pix of Issabella, she's a cutey. She's growing very fast. But what a wonder. It's hard to believe Casey and I made her. It really is a miracle. More to come. Oh yeah, heres a couple of pix of a pile Ryan and I have been cleaning off. Good cold day sun.

It's been a very rewarding couple of months. Having a little daughter has been quite humbling. She's already got me rapped around her little finger.(very little finger) And I love it.
